Craig started playing drums at the age of nine and started "jammin" with other musicians as early as junior high. In high school, he helped form the band "Black Karma" with guitarist Ron Simmons (who is the younger brother of "The Roadmasters" bassist Steve Simmons). After high school he went on to travel and record with various artists such as "Prism", "The Bobby Love Show", and "Smoke". After getting married and settling down, Craig continued to play locally on weekends. Along with Ron Simmons, Steve Simmons and Larry Thurn he played with such bands as "Clay Southern", "Inside Straight", "Borderline", "X-Static", and "Grand Pass". Craig enjoys going to his kids concerts, listening to and playing many different styles of music, trout fishing, camping and just the great outdoors.
